I DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE HAS EVER BROUGHT THIS UP OR NOT. BUT I HOPE THERE IS A REAL GOOD REASON AS TO WHY THE MEXICAN SOCCER CLUBS HAVE NEVER BEEN IN A SOCCER GAME. A LOT OF FIFA GAMERS ARE OF MEXICAN DECENT AND WOULD REALLY LOVE TO HAVE OUR TEAMS IN THE GAME. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THIS. THANK YOU.
Right on Yorchi! I think that there are enough mexicans living in the United States for EA Sports to consider adding ALL of the mexican clubs. I don't know why the keep ignoring us. The market IS here.
FIFA should take a look at the official FIFA stats showing Mexico constantly taking a spot in the top 10. They should out of respect for the FIFA title have the top 10 countries' leagues in the world! :rockman:
I read FIFA 2004 will have second division leagues from some of the world's soccer powers, what's up with that? They should at least get the mexican and argentinien league in there before going for second division teams. Just my 2 cents.
Come on FIFA, put on the Mexican clubs! Seize this HUGE segment of US market.
Valioso, I know it's early, but do you have any idea which mexican teams will appear in FIFA 2004??
i understand what you guys are saying but you have to remeber fifa has to have a worldwide appeal(not just the US). since hearing the news that fifa will have the english 1st div clubs, i am now more inclined to get it as i can be my beloved sunderland. so i guess i'm happy. i would imagine fifa would be more popular in europe due to soccer being so huge there.

EA Sports is based in Canada :p

this all nice argument.. but we dont know the legalities or possibilities of that happening.. the reason why the dutch wasnt included until now is because they had to make deals with each team individually until this season... so there may be some of that involved
I also feel insulted ow they give american-descent players stupid scores while european mr-nobody gets high score. (Saviola 86, Brighi 97? Nigga, please!)
I LOVE THE FIFA SERIES, AND I LOVE THE FACT IT APPEALS TO THE WHOLE WORLD, NOT JUST ONE DEMOGRAPHIC AREA. BUT IT'S HARD TO IGNORE THE FACT THAT MEXICANS ARE NOW THE LARGEST MINORITY IN THE U.S. SOCCER IS LIFE IN MEXICO, AS IT IS IN OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD BESIDES THE U.S. THE U.S. FAN BASE FOR SOCCER IS NOT NEARLY AS BIG AS IN ANY OTHER COUNTRY, BUT YET, THE MLS IS IN THE GAME. IM SURE THE PEOPLE THAT KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT WOULD LOVE TO SEE A MATCH BETWEEN AMERICA, OR GUADALAJARA. WHY NOT EA? HELP A BROTHA OUT...LOL
i agree with y'all, especially Rattlehead. wus the need for lowe leagues, when the real legues like mexico or columbia haven't been inducted??? and there's some afrikan dope teams too, so make it more versatile

Alfiee - I totally agree with the point you're making on worldwide appeal. That's exactly why this thread was opened in the first place.
Hakeem - EA is based in Canada, you're right, so what's your point?
People, I think we need to make much more noise than this if we want to be taken seriously by EA. Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and Colombia deserve to be in a game that pretends to be at par with the FIFA points system.
