According to the International Football Federation of History and Statistics (IFFHS) which considers the club' s world performances from I think June 2 2002 to May/June 2003
1. AC Milan 299
2. Real Madrid 289
3. Manchester United 277
4. Arsenal 273
5. FC Barcelona 264
6. FC Juventus of Turin 253
7. FC Inter Milan 253
8. Glasgow Celtic FC 251

Porto in the top 3.....hmmmm......i remember when the 'undefeatable' Porto were defeated 4-0 at Old Trafford in 1997, could happen again if we're lucky.
Oh, oh it get's better! Look at the reactions fans throw in LMAO. They are so funny and so blatantly from supporters that don't have knowledge of any other team but their own!
CNN and World Soccer magazine release their votes each Monday for the Top 10 football clubs worldwide, and we want to know your opinion. Below is a selection of some of the best feedback from the last week. Check back next week to see the response to this week's Top 10.
How can Cruzeiro still not be in your top 10 after all they done this season??? They won the Minas chapionship this year, made it to the Copa do Brasil final, their sitting on top of the Brazilian championship and they went on a 36 game run without losing a game. What else do they have to do to make it to the top 10???

Juventus and AC Milan should be demoted out of the Top 10 as punishment for having destroyed 'The Beautiful Game'. I hope next year's Italian teams fail to reach the final stages, as in recent years, because 200 million viewers deserve much better than a repeat of this snoringly, boringly, soul destroying final.

This ranking chart is laughable. How can you rank Porto above Real Madrid? Success in the UEFA Cup means very little, it's the lesser European Cup, and the teams competing are hardly top-flight. Juventus and AC Milan in 1st and 2nd place? Having watched the Champions League final I don't know how either of those teams could be considered the top two teams. Didn't Manchester United beat Juve twice this season?

Porto. A good side but one that does not deserve to be top 3. Credit to them that they have won the Uefa Cup, Portuguese League and they are in the final of the Portuguese Cup, but they have been up against many second rate sides in Portugal and in the UEFA Cup. In one of the positions 6-10 definitely, but there are plenty of sides better than them both in and out of the Top 10 for them not to be in the Top 5

Those who criticise Real Madrid must not like football so much. Madrid makes the most beautiful football nowadays, and perhaps it makes them a little bit weak at defence. But tell me, Is so horrible to lose when you try to make football a great spectacle?? I donīt think so. For example: Real Madrid had a bad day in semifinals, and the CL final was horrible boring. Madrid is on a crusade against ultra-defensive and ultra-boring Italian football. I hope for the next year that Italian football keep far from the semis of the CL. God bless Real Madrid.
Guillermo Quilez, Madrid
The Devils (Milan) are back on top of Europe. Say what you want to say about Italian football: 3 made it to the semis, 2 to the final and that is the answer. When valencia made it twice to the final it was with a defensive mentality lost twice but where are they now? Barely making it to a CL spot. And Real Madrid played amazing football but when they turned around found poor Hierro and blamed him for bad defense. Football is about balance, strong defense and talented midfielders and superb strikers. Winning the CL will make Milan even better. Who doesn`t want to join the champions of Europe? I hope there are good signings this year.

Congratulations FC Porto! Itīs been a brilliant season with Mourinho, Deco, Derlei, Costinha, Jorge Costa, Postiga... Iīm very happy to see a Portuguese team (10 out of eleven players are) at the top-3 world clubs, ahead of Real, Manchester or Bayern. This is football, the most beautiful game in the world! Forįa, Porto!
Jorge Castro, Oporto
I'm glad to see Santos in 9th place. We are taking our place among the best again. I'm trustful we are going to beat Milan another time in December. Santos always Santos.
Fabricio, Santos
For those people who say that teams like Porto have no place in the top 10 instead of names like Lazio, I'd like to remind them that that same Lazio lost 4-1 in the uefa cup semi against Porto. I'm a Benfica fan, not Porto, but having watched them play all season, I have to say they deserve all they can get and more. People just don't realize the sttruggle little clubs have to build good teams with a small budgett. Just to give you a small idea Lazio's striker Crespo makes enought to pay the entire Porto squad. Every Portuguese is proud of them.
Jorge Martins, Lisbon
So, AC Milan has won the CL for the sixth time, and Juve has lost it for the third time, but the real winner was Italian football. Maybe there weren't any goals, but the game was exciting, until extra time, that is. However, Milan were the deserved winners in the end and the rest of Europe better watch out -- Serie A is back!
