There is hot news regarding Ahmed Hassan. CNN Turk also confirmed this with a 'breaking sport news'. The news is that Premier League side Bolton Wanderers knocked the door of Turkish Champions Besiktas for Hassan. As EP reported in the past, Bolton offered a transfer option to Besiktas at the start of January. Bolton Wanderers' manager Sam Allardyce asked Mircea Lucescu to exchange Brazilian Mario Jardel plus €500,000 for the Egyptian Ahmed Hassan.
Now we are waiting for the answer from Besiktas' board to Bolton. Mario Jardel was an ex-Galatasaray player when Lucescu was the manager of Gala, so the transfer seems possible for Lucescu because he knows Jardel very well and he'll not carry risks of adaptation.
Mario Jardel is hoping the transfer is possible, because he couldn't adapt to the English lifestyle and Bolton. He wants to transfer to another club and Besiktas may be a good place for him. He is looking to play for a club that can play in European competitions. There is some news about Jardel in which he said he wants to go to his old coach's Besiktas. Jardel and Besiktas may meet together if Lucescu says yes to loosing Ahmed Hassan.
Ahmed Hassan is happy at Besiktas but everyone knows that he doesn't like being a reserve player. He wants to play more and can reach far if the conditions are good. It is also good for Hassan that Bolton is a team which challenges in his dream league.
The Bolton board said to Besiktas that Jardel knows Turkey very well and can play in the Uefa Cup this year, as they haven't featured in Europe themselves, and he is available for their services. The Bolton board also stated that they were scouting Ahmed Hassan for a long time and if Besiktas accepts the offer, they want to sign with the Egyptian in the next few days...
Now we'll see whether the Besiktas chairman Serdar Bilgili and the Bolton chairman Phil Gartside will negotiate or not...
Thats a really great deal i think, but Rangers also want Hassan, i think he will go to the SPL since rangers are always in the hunt for the title, and are going to play in europe.
After all the rattle throwing, and tantrums Allardyce had about Okocha going to the ANC in a few weeks, i'm surprised at him wanting to sign another African. If they do sign him, he wont be able to play for weeks.

Because he's not good. He got at Bolton played one game and they realized how **** he was. He's crap. He's as usefull as a mailbox, loiters for 90 minutes near goal and when someone lobs him on the damn head he scores. He's not much more useful than that.

Best finishers? Show me a goal where he used his foot to finish and the ball went higher than 3 feet. Do that and I'll show you a pig who can f**king talk and fly.

Better start searching for that pig. Jardel plays better with his feet than most strikers I know of. Okay, he had the best aerial game I've seen in my life, but he was also great with his feet. I remember him scoring a couple great goals for your team, including a superb lob over the keeper, in Setubal. That goal assured the title for Sporting. (Amazing how short the human memory can be at times...)
With Porto he simply score the 2nd best goal I've ever seen - a one-touch cracker (after a lob from Drulovic) with his left foot from outside the box, while running (my fave goal ever was Maradona's versus England). If anyone has that goal please send it to me!
Jardel was like my greatest football hero, a person I respected, one of the truly fortunate to have been born with a gift - he could score goals like no one else; he knew without blinking where to be at and exacly when.
Unfortunately for me, for Porto and for football itself he is a kid on a man's body.
Right now I hope he pays for the asshole he became. Apparently he hasn't changed one bit:
