i think this filter effect CAN look good if you have logos like cagliari. it doesn't work with mainz or leverkusen. also the lighting effect is too much, in my opinion you should reduce it a few pixels.

if you don't put that effect on everything and be alittle less rude to the logos it can look good. and you have to avoid mistakes like the ball in the bundesliga logo. it looks like something cut out of the red part, but it is equal to the player inside and shouldn't be bevelled (learned a new word again).
and like i said, don't use it for everything. the bielefeld logo for example would look better if you'd used the filter only for the circle, not for the stuff (i have to improve my vocabulary) around it.
Thanks for the comments, i'll try to improve. I know about the bundesliga logo but didn't feel like editing it as it is only a preview picture. Curswine, this is the reason i also did the version without bevel, choose one if you want. And Jay, sure you can post your logos here. :ewan:
