Suprising as it may be, when i heard about the beheading I thought it was true (Al-Sadr is an Idiot enough to do it)... But once I knew the bleeding was minimal, the case was closed. I don't know what happened. All I know that this wasn't cutting the throat of a living human being. There HAD TO be a splash of blood DURING the beheading.
Either ways I feel bad for the man's family. I'm sure I wouldn't like ppl on internet forums discussing my son's death. But I'm also sure I wouldn't like people lying about his death and using it to make a fake video, and release it to minimize the horrifying American violations in Iraq.

It was poor quality, must be Internet or PC, (it made me upgarde a few things first) but there was a lot of screaming, but it was fuzzy and dark. The clearest bit was the head held up. I saw the odd entrail hanging from the end of the neck and a few drips.

Yes that's right I haven't seen it yet, that was why i said: here's what you expect to see when someone is beheaded. If you found what i said then it is true. No problem with that. Now that I've watched the movie.
The thing that I was paying attention to was the blood, the movement and the sound.
The movement was minimal. This guy is supposed to have severe sympathetic activity with increased movements that may reach up to convulsions.
The sound was real... forget the screaming, but in the middle of the beheading before the knife reaches the vocal cords, the voice was tingled with blood as it fills the larynx and respiratory passages and that is difficult to mimic. And when the knife cuts the vocal cords the voice disappears. This was all present.
The bleeding was all on the ground and that wasn't real. This man was placed with the side of his head to the ground. The carotid artery and jugular viens should have squirted the blood upwards to the right. That wasn't present.
So some criteria are present and others aren't. I'm trying to be as neutral as I can over here. Inspite of some ppl's delegations that I'm not. I was one of the ppl who believed it was real when it was out. And now that's I've seen it I've given you my opinion. Some crucial criteria of beheading is present and others aren't. It's up to the experts then.. anyway I agree either way he's dead and nothing could make it any better. And another fact remains that many others have been beaten to death by the Coalition forces and if Al-Sadr did this crime then he has proven to the world what an IDIOT he is for doing it in this timing.

Conclusion
As many has suspected, but have not had the time to build a solid case for, the execution of Nick Berg was performed by coalition interests (most likely independent Russian mercenaries) in order to dwarf the abuse pictures and sway public opinion back against the Iraqis and in support of the war by taking advantage of the emotional reaction we all experience when hearing of such an despicable act. The poor production quality (all the "curiosities" I have pointed out) of this video can be attributed to the haste in which it was made after the order was given to distract the public from the abuse scandal, and is in line with my conclusion.

The release of a video of the alleged beheading of Nick Berg, a 26-year-old American in Iraq, has caused a mixture of responses from many quarters of world. The poor-quality footage, which claims to feature Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a Jordanian associate of Usama bin Laden, shows five masked figures standing behind the US civilian dressed in an orange jumpsuit, reminiscent of scenes similar to those of Guantanamo Bay. The video then shows one of the captors, allegedly al-Zarqawi, decapitate the victim.
Coalition forces, together with much of the western media have hailed the video as evidence of the cruel nature of the coalitions’ enemies. However, some independent analysts have voiced a number of valid questions, which question the authenticity of the tape.
One Russian analyst recently questioned, in the Russian paper Pravda, how the CIA could have authenticated the completely hooded man in a very grainy video as al-Zarqawi? Additionally, according to a US Military report in April 2003, al-Zarqawi was killed in the town of Falluja, and two other Islamic groups in Iraq have also backed this claim. Moreover, it has been commented that al-Zarqawi is a Jordanian, but the Arabic accent in the video was neither Iraqi dialect nor Jordanian dialect, rather it was of foreign origin.
It is noteworthy to bear in mind that US media claimed in 2001 that al-Zarqawi lost a leg, and was believed to have been fitted with an artificial leg. Yet, as viewers of the video tape are aware, none of the men seem to have any artificial limbs.
The Russian analyst continues to point out that the victim is exceptionally still throughout the video clip and does not resist his execution, even whilst he is being decapitated; additionally, his audible screams seem to be out of sync with the beheading. What’s more astounding is the gruesome but clinical observation that during the decapitation, very little blood is ejected from the neck artery. The head is held high, but no blood is seen dripping from it. One surgeon and forensic expert has stated that cutting the neck, a vital part of the blood circulatory system, would result in at least a foot long geyser of blood dispersed in the surrounding environment. There is no evidence of any of that in the video clip.
The timing of this video is also extremely suspect, as it comes directly at a time the US is facing worldwide condemnation of its prisoner abuses in Iraqi jails. Such abuses are not new, but knowledge of them to western audiences is new. The prisoner abuse and torture stems back to the invasion of Afghanistan, and the subsequent detention camps setup at Bagram airbase and camps in Cuba. Indeed it is highlighted that the executive orders allowing the mistreatment of the Iraqi prisoners, were based upon the executive orders allowing the same in Afghanistan. Therefore, suggesting that Al-Qaeda killed an American in revenge for prisoner abuses in Iraq would mean that their only source of information of events in Iraq is the western media, which is highly incredible. In fact the abuses in Afghanistan and Iraq have been long known to the inhabitants of those countries, and certainly to anyone engaged in resistance, therefore retribution would have taken place long ago.
Strangely, the victim is dressed in an orange boiler suit which bears much resemblance to the clothing of prisoners in Guantanamo Bay. How and why would Al-Qaeda dress their victim in such a suit? Other hostages that have been killed recently in Iraq were not dressed in any such form of clothing prior to execution.
The family of the victim are also claiming that their son had been arrested and detained by the US military, prior to his capture and killing. However, the US military claim they did no such thing, but say they offered him a free plane ticket home. By claiming they offered him a ticket implies they were in contact with him and knew of his whereabouts. In any case, the victim was apprehended whilst in US custody.
The clip of the beheading therefore raises much suspicion as to its authenticity. When contemplating all of the above mentioned points, there are numerous factors which simply don’t add up. It has to be remembered that similar - but far fewer - irregularities were causes of suspicion in recent photographs showing the mistreatment of Iraqi prisoners by British troops. Those photographs were subsequently admitted to be fakes.
What is clear is that the Coalition authorities have used this video footage as evidence of the savagery of the enemy, and as an example of the nature of the people the coalition is fighting. It cannot be ignored that this claim comes at a time when the coalition is facing unprecedented criticism for its own barbarism in the treatment of captured civilians. However, the lack of any independent analysis of the video in the western media has meant that its questionable content has been presented as absolute fact, and has had the effect of numbing some of the furore against the actions of coalition atrocities in Iraq – at least within the western audiences.
However, any impartial observer would be all too aware that the false War on Terror has resulted in the murder of tens of thousands of innocent civilians, whether through carpet-bombed in the harsh terrains of Afghanistan or indiscriminate firing in the cities of Iraq, like Falluja, where hundreds of civilians (mainly women and children) have been killed. These actions are far worse than the atrocities occurring in the prisons of Iraq today, and surpass the baseness of one video - even if it were true.
The term ‘war is deceit’ is well known throughout history, and clearly the western governments are employing this to their full advantage. The murder, mutilation and repression of millions of people matters little in their pursuit of economic, strategic and military domination. The reality is that the horrific and gruesome death of one man would matter far less.

"Rafah represents the "terror gate" to the Gaza Strip.
The objective of the IDF action is to bring about an end to the smuggling of weapons that is meant to turn Gaza into a base for missiles and rockets that can reach deep into Israel.
The IDF uncovered eight arms-smuggling tunnels last month, 11 since the beginning of the year, and some 90 since the outbreak of the violence in September 2000.
If Israel does not carry out these actions, it will find itself dealing more and more with rockets and missiles being launched from Gaza into Israeli cities.
The PA is doing nothing to curb the terror, instead it is encouraging it. Had the PA carried out its road map commitments to take action against the terror organizations, the current IDF actions would be unnecessary.
The actions are aimed at the tunnels and are not in response to the killing of the 13 soldiers in Gaza last week.
Although the media is reporting the destruction of hundreds of homes, there is no such "wholesale" destruction, and the only homes being destroyed are those hiding tunnels or which have been used by gunmen to fire on IDF soldiers.

19 June: A suicide bomber kills himself and an Israeli man, owner of a grocery shop in Sde Trumot, a small village a few kilometres from the West Bank in northern Israel.
11 June: Sixteen people are killed in a bus bomb in Jerusalem, in the first suicide attack since US President Bush's peace summit a week before. It follows an Israeli air strike on 10 June aimed at killing Hamas leader Abdel-Aziz al-Rantissi in Gaza.
Within an hour of the bus attack, Israeli helicopters launch another attack in Gaza, killing several people, reportedly including a top militant.
19 May: At least three people are killed and 18 injured in a suicide attack on a shopping mall in the northern Israeli town of Afula. The bomber is reported to have been a woman.
Earlier, three Israeli soldiers in the Gaza Strip are injured when a suicide bomber riding a bicycle detonate explosives strapped to his body.
18 May: Seven people are killed when a suicide bomber blows himself up on board a bus in northern Jerusalem. A second attacker kills himself minutes later as emergency crews arrive but no-one else is seriously hurt. The blasts come hours after Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon held the first talks with his Palestinian counterpart, Mahmoud Abbas, better known as Abu Mazen.

That doesn't include shootings, stabbings, attacks on soldiers and even the year 2004! Do you get the point? And please... by "condeming" suicide bombings, but then giving a "but" just doesn't work.
Quit playing the victim, take responsiblity for your actions, and end the violence. It's up the the Palestinians to do it, otherwise you give Israel the right to do whatever they want.
