New Commentators....

I know this is not a very important part of the gameplay but am I the only here who is tired of hearing and listening the same 2 narrators year after year, i sure hope not. Well, i was thinking that the EA people could hold a casting for narrators were they invited different narrators of each language and hear them to see which they thought were the best for the game in their language.I think that with better commentary and narration of the gameplay by the narrator/s this would make the game feel more realistic.The game would have the best narrators for each language in FIFA 2006 according to EA's opinion....

Yes i been waiting a long time for they put more laungages. in other games they have commentators that speak norwegian! (for me) Thats preety cool. But why do not fifa do it. You know many games have alot of laungages commentators.

John Motson is fantastic for real footie, but for fifa, it doesn't work.... and mccoist is awful..

I feal the exact same way im on my 14th season and its still the same old comentator with the same old lines........ atleast change him after 4 to 5 seasons

I agree aswell. They are getting very very boring now. If they had more languages id be happy, LIke if they had Portuguese I wouldnt care about the english commentators but since alot of people HAVE to listen to them then I say can em and get someone else. Because heck a new voice never hurt anyone.

I liked the commentators on uefa championsleague game. Was that Andy Gray and Tyler?

UEFA was Clive Tyldseley and Andy Gray (I think). The last videogame that had Martin Tyler and Andy Gray was FA PremierLeague STARS.

FIFA Without John Motson would just be strange after all these years - but I prefer the commentary in UEFA CL.

The commentary is the least of the problems. Commentary in a video game is by its very nature limited and thus is bound to get boring and repetitive. As far as I'm concerned, the only commentary changes that should be included are team names ("The score of course Bolton 4 Blackburn 0"), more player names (no commentary for either Ronaldo? WTF?!), and the ability to assign commentary names to people. In my career mode a guy named Trezeguet replaced Pires, and I have both him and David Trezeguet on my team. Yet only David has a commentary name. Additionally, there's no reason that Motson says Simon Davies' name but not Kevin Davies, we should be able to edit that in a player editor mode.

I thought the commentary in Uefa CL was awesome, Clive Tildesley and Andy Gray are much better than John Motson and Ally McCoist.... :|

I should also point out that they really do need to fix the commentary bugs. I'm tired of things like "They're already through to the next round" after ONE CL group stage match, or "Well Ally it's the last game of the season" in January.
