Doesn't the winner of Copa do Brazil also get a spot for the Libertadores?

Yes. That's why Brazil can have up to 5 teams in Libertadores (to tell you the truth, i think it's 6, if the same that finishes top 3 wins the Libertadores).

Congratulations on the title, Atlético-PR. No freaking way they'll lose it now. Palmeiras are doing everything they can to waste their Libertadores spot.

EDIT - Forget what i said. Atlético-PR were beating Grêmio 3-0 and they blew it, Jesus.:crazyboy:

Dude, it's unbelievable!

The idiots thought they already had it. All 3 goals Grêmio scored could be easily avoided:
1) Nobody marking, the guy who passed was alone (actually two of ours were watching him), and the guy who received was also alone (3 watching him);
PORRA, TODO O MUNDO OLHANDO E NINGUÉM DEU COMBATE! CADÊ A MARCAÇÃO, QUE É O NOSSO FORTE?
2) Everybody watching the game again. Nobody jumped for the header, and Diego (:kader:, you again...) neither jumped to cut the cross (punch the ball) nor tried to catch it. He just watched too! What an idiot.
PELO AMOR DE DEUS, BOLA NA PEQUENA ÁREA É DO GOLEIRO! PORRA, VÊ QUE A BOLA TÁ VINDO, SAI E SOCA A BOLA; OU PELO O MENOS TENHA A DECÊNCIA DE PULAR NA BOLA (PORRA, CUSTA ESTICAR UM BRAÇO OU UMA PERNA?).
3) Rogério Corrêa (:kader:, you too again...) watched for the second time in the match the whole thing and didn't jump for the header (just like against Ponte Preta).
PUTA QUE PARIU, ZAGUEIRO QUE MARCA A BOLA E NEM TENTA CABECEAR NÃO PODE ESTAR NUM TIME QUE ESTÁ COM O CAMPEONATO NAS MÃOS!

Levir, did your brain also freeze yesterday? How did you sack Dênis Marques and put William? Dude, we were winning 3-0, w had to push harder to score the 4th, then the 5th and the 6th. ****, didn't we learn anything in that match against Juventude?

Oh, and there was a PK on Washington, but now the refs will only call one for us if someone's shot inside the area (although I don't have much complaints on Wagner Tardelli).

Whatever, we are on the lead, we just gotta win the other 3 matches and celebrate.

If we already knew 1 relegated team to the Série B (Grêmio), now we already know 1 team promoted: Brasiliense will join us next year. Congrats for them.

Guarani won yesterday, 2-1 vs Figueirense. Our chances are very slim, we have to win our next 2 games. Shame one of them is against Paysandy away, we're screwed. At least the second game is vs Grêmio, and they're relegated so it might not be as hard as it should.

I dont know mate, they are both tough matches. And besides winning the 2 matches left, the other teams have to lose their matches.

Guarani is a good team. I wouldnt like to see Guarani and Botafogo in the Série B. I wish good luck to both teams (and may Botafogo come to Curitiba free from relegation).

Wow, what a match! We were down 0-1 in the HT and in the final score was Atlético 5-2 S. Caetano.

We played a devastating 2nd half, Levir made the right substitution. Raulen was on fire, not to mention Washington and Denis Marques. If we keep playing this way we will be the champions.

Well, Guarani is officially relegated (now it's true) after a 4-2 loss at the hands of Paysandu. Botafogo is pretty close of the 2nd division as they lost 2-1 to Corinthians and they'll face a Atlético-PR that needs 3 points at any costs.

Santos are already champions in my book, i refuse to believe they'll blow it in the last game against Vasco, a team already free from relegation. Atlético-PR blew it, and against Vasco (Vasco of all teams....).

If I know very well the situation of my team, Santos will probably win 6x0 or more...

I'm sorry Felipe, maybe next year...

I feel like **** right now.

Hopefully next year with the new signings we can do something in the Libertadores [some say Cláudio Pitbull (Grêmio) and Marcel (Paraná) are coming ]. And Jesus, when will the defenders learn to jump when a cross comes to our area instead of looking? When will our GK learn that he must cut the cross instead of watching the whole thing happen?

We lost to ourselves, Santos already has it.

Aww poor Felipe. Was rooting for your team. Well it isnt over yet but it will be extremely difficult to see a team run by Wanderlei Luxemburgo screwing up in the last round in such a crucial game.
I would love to see Luxemburgo manage an European team, he is a miracle maker. Is it true that he is going to coach Corinthians next season? I heard a rumour that he is the brain behind Corinthinas new buying policy.
